The government is welcoming the world’s worst human rights abusing regimes to shop for weapons in London. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

A massive arms fair is planned to take place in the UK in September 2013. The UK government plans to invite human rights abusing regimes, such as China, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Bahrain, Russia and Saudi Arabia, to the London arms fair to court them and sell them weapons.

BAE's on the run! Help us to stage a protest against its Annual Meeting this 8th May at Farnborough!

BAE sponsoring the flowers at Queens roundabout in Farnborough
Wed, 08/05/2013 - 08:15
Town/City:
Farnborough

BAE Systems is on the run but we're hot on its heels.

Arms company BAE Systems would rather its shareholders weren't reminded where their profits actually come from. It is so keen to whitewash its image, that it has moved its Annual General Meeting from a prestigious venue in Westminster back to home turf in Farnborough.

They want to hide. So it's up to us to make sure they can't.

Gathering to plan Resistance to the G8

Sun, 15/07/2012 - 11:00 - 17:00
Town/City:
Brighton

The G8 is where the heads of the most powerful states in the world gather to discuss cementing social control and domination of resources. Top of the agenda will be austerity; using the financial crisis caused by the banking sector to open new markets trading our public services as commodities.

The 2013 G8 summit will be somewhere in the UK. This meeting in Brighton will be a first chance to get together and discuss how to build a network to resist the summit.

Check the website for more details. Accommodation will be provided for those coming from out of town.

The art of War – Imagine a world without EDO

Wed, 06/06/2012 - 16:00 - 18:00
Town/City:
Brighton

Smash EDO invite anyone with an artistic bent to join them outside the factory to draw visions of a world without EDO. Pictures will be displayed at the Cowley Club.
EDO/ITT is, if heading north from Moulsecoomb station, the fourth out of five warehouses. It’s a large white and green building, which unfortunately looks quite similar to its neighbours, particularly from behind. http://smashedo.org.uk/about/finding-edo
