Considering the Assembly’s new legislative powers, Cymdeithas y Cymod and are laying down a moral challenge to AMs: Remove responsibility for schoolyard recruitment from the discretion of head-teachers, and ban it outright.
CND Cymru, Forceswatch, Plaid Cymru youth wing and Cymdeithas y Cymod will be present.
2 day public inquiry into a planning application submitted to the Vale of Glamorgan Council for permission to start ‘fracking’ tests at Llandow.
The tests are to determine whether the geology is suitable for the extraction of gas. This extraction method is highly controversial and can have devastating effects on the environment.
