Walk of Witness
CAFOD, Christian Aid and Tearfund are holding a Walk of Witness around churches in the Cardiff area to help bring an end to global hunger. The Walk will start by the Lightship at Cardiff Bay, with a walk via several churches, with a shared picnic in Bute Park.
The walk will include visits to several churches in the Cardiff area, including St David’s Catholic Cathedral.

24 hr Fast in solidarity with hunger strikers at Guantanamo.
As part of the call to action for a weekend (17-19 May) by groups in the US and UK to raise awareness and in solidarity with the hunger strikers and those who have been cleared for release at Guantanamo.
Lindis Percy of CAMPAIGN FOR THE ACCOUNTABILITY OF AMERICAN BASES (CAAB) will be doing a 24 hour fast at the American base at NSA Menwith Hill on Saturday 18 May starting at 7am. She will be dressed in the iconic orange suit and black hood associated with the detainees at Guantanamo.
