Join us in Reading on 14 April in some creative street theatre: we’ll be inviting passers-by to give their input to a People’s Budget – asking them to tell us how to spend the £100 billion pounds for Trident on other items. It will be fun! As well as educational!

GDAMS events will take place in Coventry University’s Technology Park, others in the city centre and outside the Council House. A letter of protest will be delivered to the offices of Lockheed Martin, demanding a public statement about its involvement in the production of cluster bombs.

Merseyside Peace groups will be leafleting against the vast sums of money spent by Governments on arms and warfare when it could be spent on much needed social welfare. We are also collecting signatures on a Pax Christie petition calling for the end of recruitment of under 18yrs into the armed forces. We’ll be outside the Armed Forces Recruitment Centre, Sth.
