Speaker: Anne Gray. Like many other ‘developed’ countries, Britain has an ageing society; more & more people need care in older age. Anne will explore some solutions to these problems from her book, A Radical Approach to the Care Crisis;Community, Solidarity and a National Care Service, to be published by Bristol University Press in April 2025. There will be signed copies for sale.

In London, there will be the annual ceremony in Tavistock Square at 1pm. This year the ceremony will pay tribute to the struggles of COs in Israel, as well as in Russia, Ukraine and many other countries around the world.
Speakers include Or, an Israeli conscientious objector and member of the feminist anti-militarist organisation New Profile.
The event can be attended in person or online.
