Annual Justice & Peace Conference: Breaking Open the Word - A Call to Faith in Action
Through input from our speaker Megan McKenna (http://meganmckenna.com), and a range of workshops and creative spaces, the conference will seek to: explore ways of integrating action and faith through prayer, art and lifestyle; critique current social, economic and political realities from the perspective of the poor, in the light of the Gospel and Catholic Social Teaching; and provide opportunities for concrete action.
With creche and programmes for children and young people, and 'Just Fair' with goods, information and resources from a range of agencies.
Open Networking Day
Forum on 'Option for the Poor - What options now?' with input from Michael Kirwan SJ, Alison Gelder (Housing Justice), Tim Jones (Jubilee Debt Campaign) and Church Action on Poverty.
Plus opportunities for networking with justice and peace activists from around the country and for updates on campaigns by national agencies.
