Talk and discussion by Sameeha Elwan, 24 year old Palestinian from Gaza. She spoke eloquently at a meeting of the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign in York about growing up and studying in Gaza and then the sheer joy of handling real books in light from electricity not candles while working for an MA in Culture and Difference at Durham University. On September 20th she will speak to a public meeting in Skipton, organized by Grassington and District Peace Group in association with Skipton Quaker Meeting.
