A free day-long conference is being arranged by the Fellowship of Reconciliation, in association with Pax Christi and Quaker Peace and Social Witness.

This Called to be Peacemakers event is for 18-30 year-olds who want to engage with the issues we face today in looking for a better society.

What changes do young people want to see in the modern world? How can we facilitate peace at home and abroad? And which is more important - money, power, or peace? These questions are to be addressed through a morning panel discussion followed by afternoon workshops on a special Saturday in October.
