Given the current circumstances, sadly Salisbury CND will not be mounting its usual public candle float on the Avon on August 6th .

However, an equally solemn and spectacular commemoration of the horrifying nuclear attack on the Japanese city 75 years ago has already occurred under rigorously safe-distanced conditions.

Filmed in a scenic location in Salisbury, it will be presented to the public on Hiroshima Day. Salisbury CND promises a bit more colour than usual, and a new message from the Mayor of Hiroshima.
