The Quaker Meeting House will be open 1 - 4pm, offering tea and cake and an opportunity for quiet reflection and conversation during the Armed Forces Day National Event in Salisbury, June 28 - 30.
This is part of Salisbury Quakers’ response to the Armed Forces Day National Event in Salisbury, We are convinced that no war, since the dawn of time, has ever been inevitable. Wars happen because of injustice, oppression, inequality and the failure of politics. We believe that our government and others should be working towards reducing these triggers of war.
