Town/City:
NOTTINGHAM.

With Tansy Hoskins.
Tansy Hoskins dissects fashion’s vampiric relationship with the planet and our bodies. Why does ‘size zero’ exist? Why do most big retailers go for the cheapest garment workers in the developing world? Moving between Karl Lagerfeld and Karl Marx, Tansy dissects the fashion industry. She also asks whether ‘green fashion’ is the way ahead. Is there more to the industry than consumerism, sexism and exploitation. This is about the clothes on our back. 7.00-8.30pm – note earlier time.
