Why do most big retailers go for the cheapest garment workers in the developing world? Moving between Karl Lagerfeld and Karl Marx, Tansy dissects the fashion industry. She also asks whether ‘green fashion’ is the way ahead. Is there more to the industry than consumerism, sexism and exploitation.
