BIRMINGHAM. Conference at Woodbrooke. The conference is organised by Quakers but open to all comers. Speakers include Ben Griffin - he used to be a career soldier in the SAS but conscientiously objected and set up Veterans for Peace UK. Peter Tatchell, Ljiljana Bogoeva, and David Gee will also be speaking on diverse themes and there will be plenty of interactive time. The conference would be ideal for anyone thinking of getting more involved in peace work.
£190 – Residential Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. £125 – Non-residential, Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon, lunches and dinners included. £68 – Non-residential, Saturday 9am to 9pm, lunch and dinner included.
