Cambridge A Peace Memorial held on the banks of the River Cam in Cambridge to reflect and float peace lanterns in memory of all who died as a result of the atom bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
The event traditionally begins with the communal making of peace lanterns, followed by space for silent reflection and sharing short readings and poems.
