Town/City:
GREENWICH, LONDON

The Sheila McKechnie Foundation (www.smk.org.uk) is a registered charity that supports campaigners to make an impact.
The speakers will be: Harmit Kambo, Learning & Development Manager, SMK (facilitator); Nick Raynsford, MP for Greenwich and Woolwich; Jim Wintour, former Head of Campaigning and Press for Shelter.
Participants will already be involved at a basic level of campaigning or just about to get started - whether you are challenging local authority social care changes or protesting about climate change - if you want information and advice about the next steps, then this campaign workshop is for you.
This programme is part-funded by the Tudor Trust. As a core part of the programme, we want to ensure we are providing free access to grassroots campaigners, students and individuals who are unwaged or on a low income. We are asking those individuals and organisations who can afford it, to pay a small fee (although this is still heavily subsidised through funding from the Tudor Trust). The fees are as follows:

Medium and large charities (turnover more than £500,000): £40
Small charities (turnover between £100,000 - £500,000): £20
Very small charities (turnover less than £100,000): £10
Individuals: £10
Individuals (unwaged/students/low income) and grassroots groups with very limited or no funds: FREE
Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
