Grassroot Diplomat is hosting the Initiative Awards 2012 which will formally recognise six diplomats and politicians who are working hard on issues and organisations led by civil society. We hope to raise awareness about grassroots activities and bring government officials closer to the people.
Ticket price includes drinks reception, 3-course dinner, photo opportunity with winners and celebrities, plus performance led by Eurovision runner-up, Imaani. Raffles and merchandises will be sold on the night to raise funds for grassroots projects in Fiji, West Bengal, Sudan, India, Nigeria and the UK. We aim to raise £30,000 for these projects and your support is greatly appreciated.
