Sheffield Fundraising bike rides with talks for Mayday bank holiday. To fund a work of art to commemorate radical thinker and socialist Edward Carpenter's links to Sheffield and to initiate a walking/cycling Carpenter trail. £10 for one/both rides.
10am: 10-mile morning ride, starts Barkers Pool. Ends 12noon with picnic in Paradise Square. 1pm: 20-mile afternoon ride, starts Peace Gardens, refreshments at the Royal Oak in Millthorpe. Back in town by about 5pm.
