A walk (estimated time 30 mins) between the two Peace Poles in Perth, St Ninian's Episcopal Cathedral North Methven Street to the Rodney Gardens, meet 2.15pm for 2.30 start.

Aberdeen and District CND will hold a gathering to commemorate the bombing of Nagasaki outside Marshical College, Broad Street
Lantern floating ceremony to mark the anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima. This is a free event with campaign stalls, live music and refreshments.
Tavistock Peace Action Group will have a stall in Bedford Square, Tavistock, Devon, to commemorate victims of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombing.
The evening will be chaired by Dr Frank Boulton, with a short speech from Cllr Steven Barnes-Andrews, previous mayor of Southampton, then followed by a speech by Kate Hudson, national secretary of CND
This event has been held every year for forty years and is part of the official programme of the International Folk Week.
Annual floating lantern ceremony at the Peace Pagoda
The commemoration will take place at 8pm with readings and floating petals on the pond.
Bring food and drink to share. Children welcome to join in making peace cranes. There will be poetry, songs and music.
