Town/City:
KINGSTON

This year our event will be rather different.
12 noon-1pm socially-distanced vigil outside the Bentall Centre, Kingston. We will hold posters reminding people that it's 75 years since the first atomic bomb was dropped, and of the urgent need for complete nuclear disarmament.
Then we will go to Canbury Gardens (near the bandstand) and at 1.30pm observe 2 minutes silence followed by floating white flowers on the River Thames.
Join us for the vigil and ceremony and stay afterwards for refreshments/picnic lunch in the gardens. Please bring your own picnic.
