On 14 August 2014 the scarf will be stretched between the Nuclear Weapons Establishments at Aldermaston and Burghfield in Berkshire. The event will call on the government to scrap the Trident nuclear weapons system and spend the billions of pounds saved on health, education and building a peaceful, sustainable economy.
After we have finished, the scarf will be taken down and re-purposed in to blankets for local hospices, emergency areas and war zones.
