The Peace Train will ask Parliament to ensure the U.K. becomes a signatory to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.
Travelling from Chester railway station at 9:27am, 24th October, members of the Council will collect petitions and messages of support at each stop along the North Wales/South Wales line until its
final destination in Newport. They will then board a train to London and personally deliver all letters and petitions to Caroline Lucas MP (Chair of Parliamentary CND) and Fabian Hamilton MP (Labour’s Shadow Minister for Disarmament).
