As the world continues to come to terms with the Covid-19 crisis, it has illustrated with needs prioritise public spending on socially productive projects including health care rather than nuclear weapons, which do nothing to keep us safe.

The international community has been able to come together in a way rarely seen as the search for a vaccine. This should offer leaders a blueprint of what is possible when there is political will. Our prayer is that this attitude can be taken forward into talks about nuclear disarmament.

The Christian CND AGM will take place immediately after the Conference.
