Mike, a journalist & social historian, has been taking on the British media for more than 30 years as director of the MediaWise Trust, the journalism ethics charity he founded with victims of media abuse in 1993; as the organiser of Special Parliamentary Hearings into Clive Soley’s Freedom & Responsibility of the Press bill; & as the longest serving national council member of the Campaign for Press and Broadcasting Freedom.
