Peace Cranes project will culminate in April/May 2022 with a group exhibition and a series of accompanying events including a screening of the documentary The Vow from Hiroshima a portrait of Setsuko Thurlow. The exhibition will feature photography and film installations by British and European art activists including Edward Thompson, Su Grierson, Pam Skelton, Keiko Sato, Madelon Hooykaas, Mare Trall, Miranda Whall and Dawn Cole—each exploring the humanitarian and environmental consequences of the dropping and testing of the Atomic bomb in Hiroshima, Nagasaki and Bikini Atoll together with the nuclear and radiation accidents at Chernobyl and Fukushima.
