Professor Jenkins is an economist with interests in international development, particularly trade, foreign investment and industrialization. Recent research has focused on the economic, social and environmental impacts of globalisation. Professor Jenkins has had a long-term interest in the activities of transnational corporations and this has recently included analysis of corporate social responsibility. His main geographical area of interest is Latin America.

At a time when transnational corporations are under scrutiny for the way they conduct their affairs, it is good to hear from someone who is looking into this matter.
