The Community Concert for Peace, organised by the One Voice Community Choir, is to mark the centenary of the first Armistice Day in 1918. It includes local young people and adults who have been trained in singing workshops leading up to the event. We will be joined by over 60 other performers to present a celebration concert for peace. The performers will include local young people and adults from Barnardo's Young Carers, Barnardo's Include Me 2 project, British Red Cross Refugee Support Service and Community Gateway Association, who will sing as one choir with One Voice Community Choir.

The 'Abhinandana Dance Academy' and the 'Together in Song' Choir from Manchester will also take part in the concert. This will be a momentous night of powerful and uplifting music to remember all the people who have suffered from war and conflict. A celebration of peace by people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
