There are many Scotlands! With the referendum due tomorrow, we celebrate all the literatures of Scotland Readings in Gaelic, Doric, Border Scots, Norn – and Standard English by Scots writers, as well as from the Scottish diaspora. We’ll include the historic spoken languages of the country and represent the literature of new immigrants to Scotland. Readings from a group of exiles, who might not all vote the same way tomorrow, but love the literature of the country. Tickets: £3 on the door, redeemable against any purchase on the night, including a tot of whisky or a glass of Irn Bru. Deep fried Mars Bars optional.
