CARDIFF

Côr Cochion Caerdydd (Cardiff Reds Choir) was formed in turbulent 1983. They learned their songs from many sources; from people on picket lines and protests during the Miners’ Strike, and from those who struggled for freedom in South Africa, Latin America and elsewhere. In the past three decades, their singing has raised tens of thousands of pounds supporting dozens of causes and organisations. This is a celebration of the popular movements which brought an end to Apartheid, the Poll Tax and saw nuclear weapons leave Greenham Common. Some of the groups we sing for will be there to spread their messages of peace and freedom. There will be various displays from us and those we support. Refreshments will be available in the cash bar.
