The International Sufi School has conducted extensive research on the development of non-violent alternatives in all spheres of life. Therapy is a method of making peace with these legacies. It is used widely in the medical sphere to enable a person to deal with events which have caused suffering and conflict in his/her life, usually after a breakdown or crisis. Our speakers: Peter Jakob a consultant clinical psychologist, and director of PartnershipProjects. Non Violent Resistance (NVR) has been developed by Haim Omer and his team to help families, schools and communities respond both effectively and humanely to violent, aggressive and self-destructive behaviour in children and young people. Daren DeWitt is a qualified trainer with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) working in London, the UK and internationally. Soraya Ramjane is a member of the International Sufi School and the peace education training director in the UK.
