Join us for an afternoon of poetry, community and celebrating youth voices! In a national call out, CND’s award-winning Peace Education programme encouraged students from across the country to submit original poems to explore issues of hope and peace and amplify the voices of young people. The ‘Verses of Hope’ National Peace Poetry Competition commemorated the 80th anniversary of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The competition was judged by published poets, Antony Owen and Aaron Kent.

This ceremony will include awards and a special section of the winning poets reading out their selected work.

The event is free but due to limited capacity, we ask that you reserve your ticket in advance.

If you book and are unable to make it, we also ask that you cancel your reservation to open up booking spaces. https://tinyurl.com/27h2r4n6
