One year has passed since the UK was condemned for its arms sales to authoritarian regimes in the Middle East and North Africa …but the UK is still supplying weapons to dictators.

This time last year, while UK weapons were being used against civilians in Libya, David Cameron went on a tour to promote weapons sales in the Middle East. In 2011, Saudi Arabia deployed armoured vehicles to help suppress protests in Bahrain, but UK arms sales to the kingdom never even slowed.

Now is the time to take action to expose that This is NOT OK.

CAAT are holding a Campaign Day at Carrs Lane Church Centre in Birmingham on the 24th March.

This action-packed day of training, discussion and planning will make sure you have the latest information on UK weapons being used in repressive regimes and explore why arms are still being sold to countries committing human rights atrocities. You'll also have the chance to meet and network with inspiring campaigners from your region, find out about the arms trade in your area and plan some hard-hitting action for 2012.

We want you to shape the agenda, so please let us know what you'd like to talk about and the issues affecting campaigns in your area when you book.
