Maya Evans is one of the few UK peace activists who regularly visits Afghanistan to observe the ongoing war and to support Afghan peace activists.
Recently she participated in a peace walk from Okinawa to Hiroshima to mark the 73rd anniversary of the dropping of the Atomic bomb, as well as raising awareness about the 33 U.S. Marine bases on the Island of Okinawa.
Maya will talk about her eye witness experiences in both countries.
