Kingston Author and historian David McDowall will be speaking. David McDowall has lived and worked in the region and can help us understand those countries whose fate was so arbitrarily decided following the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.
No charge – all welcome. There will be a collection for a project helping Syrian refugees in Jordan at the end of the evening.
