Military Spending: What's the cost?

The first event in a 4-part event series which launches a Conscience campaign to examine the impact of military spending on society. We want to draw attention to the fact that for every £1 spent on non-military security, conflict prevention and resolution, £35 is spent on military campaigns. Thus, making the split 97:3.
The evening's format will be a panel discussion with experts in this area. We hope to be joined by a representative from the Green Party, MedAct and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. Throughout the event, there will be as much audience participation as time will allow.
