The Spark is a week of workshops, films, discussions, poetry, music, art and more, looking at the fight for social justice in the UK and around the world. Daytime workshops, evening films, music and debates covering issues from film-making to young people’s human rights, from the environment to economics. Plus, a full day on Saturday focusing on intersectionality and liberation, and a wrap-up party with performances from the week on Saturday night. Organised by individuals involved in a range of social justice groups including the London Roots Collective, Black Feminists UK, UK Uncut, Algeria Solidarity Campaign, OSA poetry collective, AMP (art and politics must meet), the Economic Justice Project, youth and refugee organisations, environmental and social justice groups.
