LONDON Free screening of two short documentaries and a discussion about the Syria crisis. This will be followed by a meeting to continue planning actions to support the movement for peace and justice in Syria.
Film screening: Doors open: 6:20pm. Film starts at 6:45pm.
The first film will be Olly Lamberts' 30 minute film 'The Bombing of al-Bara,'.
The second film will be Wael Kadlo's recent short film (8 mins) 'The Wound' (Bidayyat, 2013). This takes us into the situation of a Syrian woman risking her life to treat those wounded in the Syrian conflict.
Planning meeting: This will take place straight after the films and discussion, from 8-9.30pm.
The film screening is free, but a donation towards the maintenance costs of the LARC would be welcome.
