LONDON. Follow Veterans For Peace UK as we walk to The Cenotaph with a message of peace. Meet at 13.30 in Trafalgar Square.
This year In opposition to the pro war, pro military jingoism of the "official" state parade,Veterans For Peace will walk to the Cenotaph under the banner "NEVER AGAIN".
Once there we will read 'Suicide in the Trenches' by Siegfried Sassoon and lay a wreath of white & red poppies before playing the Last Post.
We will then observe a period of silence before moving off.
ALL ARE WELCOME TO FOLLOW US TO THE CENOTAPH.
Dress - Smart
No banners or placards except for "NEVER AGAIN" to be carried by Veterans For Peace.
