Network for Peace
Network for Peace is a
very modest outfit but sometimes we do need to remember that our work is
appreciated and not just by members. Read on … “I'd
say that NfP represents a thread of continuity for the peace movement which
should not be broken, a link between different regions, different issues and
different levels of the peace movement.” “I want
to express gratitude for the work that you do. I was overjoyed to come across
your website - a link from the Stop The War Coalition website.” MB October 2008 “We feel
that it is very important that what activities are being taken for peace
should be available as widely as it is possible for us to make it - ie not being multi millionaire owners of media outlets.” AC, January 2008 “I
maintain several online events diaries for organisations and download the NfP
listings as an important source of information on forthcoming events. It is
very comprehensive and looks further ahead than some similar listings.” MC, January 2008 “The NfP
Diary is the most comprehensive source of information available, covering an
extensive range of peace, disarmament and environmental events which goes
beyond the information available from CND. It is invaluable to have this
reliable and accurate information from a single source.” JB, January 2008 “(NfP)
needs to be there for campaigning groups to liaise with over dates.” DM, January 2008 I find
Network for Peace a very valuable networking tool, in publicising our events,
in keeping us all in touch, in providing much valuable background
information. DM, January 2008 “With so
many organisations promoting peace activities of one kind or another, it
is essential to have easy access to information about what is happening where
and when so that duplication can be avoided if possible.” PA, January 2008 “great resource, they also have a calendar online”. Peace Studies online website, 2004 |
