Would you like to find a hidden story of men who didn’t fight in World War One?
Would you like to know how men claimed exemption from conscription in World War One?
Would you like to know if there was a World War One Conscientious Objector in your family?
Come to a free workshop to find out more.

This workshop, funded by a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to the Haringey First World War Peace Forum, will enable you to undertake your own research into the men who applied to the local Military Service Tribunals between 1916 and 1918 for exemption from conscription, in particular those who were Conscientious Objectors.
